This is not really a comment for posting but ...
I have just spent hours reading every section, every picture and every link :D.
Great blog and I have bookmarked it ! Look forward to checking back for other news.
I found this via a search for all things Dehler 34
I have just bought one ( 1991 Nova Top ) from a relative so found your comments of great interest.
However yacht is still overseas and it's UK winter !
Plan is to do repairs ( some common threads to your own ! ) then day sails ( Firth of Clyde ) and eventually Scottish West Coast Island hopping.
A novice but after chartering yachts Loch Ness, Norfolk Broads, sailing / motoring as crew, tall ship sailing i decided i want to go out for change from an office when i want. A change from not when there is a spare space and not at the weekly prices of the summer season !

Thanks Anonymous ! All the best with sailing your Dehler around Scotland. We hope to make it up that way one day ourselves. Friends who have sailed in the area tell us it is breathtaking.

I was on social day with marina and had the chance to be with experts and on other craft - verdict = Dehler 34 handles great, performs well even the expert said "nice" !

OMG I am so jealous ! A his and hers steering wheel ! OK you gone POSH ( port out starboard home ) - I just go on meanders around the bay and fishing ( it is not called catching cos nothing gets caught ) but for some its fun for me being afloat is better than being in the bath !
